Wish Me Luck!
Well, I drug my feet for awhile, always telling myself “I really need to apply to be a Google Innovator” but never committed. Many of my Ed Tech friends have done it and they often try to give me the nudge, “come on Ryan… you NEED to do this!”
So last night I took the plunge! Actually, it took more than one night, but last night was the due date for the Google Innovator program in Toronto, Canada this October. I did all the requirements, completed the application, designed my project (more about that in a later post I hope) and made my video.
I'd like to give a special thanks to my partner in crime , Brian Briggs, for giving me a very special nomination; thanks Briggsy!
What happens next is simply to wait. The good news is that it won’t be too long. The announcements come out in just one week.
If I make it in my first attempt or not, I am happy that I took the plunge.
